What Birds and Stones Have in Common for a Feng Shui Home

Have you ever entered a couple’s home only to feel as though it has more cool and aloof energy than love and passion?   Does the couple seem distant and alone despite being in the same home?   If that is the case, or if you feel the same way in your own home, it is time to add some strategic feng shui pieces to your home’s decor.   These pieces do not have to be large and intrusive, but they should be small reminders of peace, harmony, love, and companionship.   One of the best ways to do that is by using a combination of birds and stones in your home`s decor.

Perfectly Paired
In a space where love abounds, you find things in pairs.   Pairs of mugs, pairs of end tables, and pairs of decorative pieces.   The feng shui problems arise when there is a lack of pairs in the decor.   Why is this so important?   It is important because the pairs are a symbol and reminder that there is unity and companionship.   Without these subtle symbols, it will not be long before the couple begins to feel distant from one another and more alone than together.   This is a recipe for relationship discord and can be disastrous for any couple.   Thankfully, it is easy to combat.

Beautiful Birds
Birds are a calming, relaxing symbol that usually come in pairs.   This makes them perfect for creating symbols of pairs, but also for creating that peaceful feeling that you want in the home.   A small picture of a pair of birds in the kitchen, whether it be on a refrigerator magnet or a piece of wall art, will be a subtle reminder of the couple’s bond.   The same is true for a pair of bird figurines on a bookshelf in the living room or den.   Remember that the pieces and pictures do not have to be big in size, but they should definitely be big in symbolism.   Be sure that the bird depictions coordinate with the rest of the room’s decor, as well.

Far From Rocky
One of the most calming symbols in feng shui is that of pretty rocks arranged in a strategic spot in the home.   For harmony and marital happiness, those rocks should be arranged in the southwest area of the house.   This may seem a simple thing, but the stability and natural element that smooth rocks provide is a wonderful reminder of the calm, peaceful feel that you want to build and maintain in your home and relationship.   Whether the rocks are in a shallow dish or arranged on a tray on the coffee table, they should be smooth and colorful.

Feng shui elements should be a part of every couple`s home and life together.   Simple reminders of their togetherness and their union as a pair will help bridge the gaps of loneliness and make them feel more united.   Never underestimate the power of subtle symbolism to make or break a space’s energy.   Take advantage of all of the feng shui tricks available to help make your home a blissful one.
